4 1/2 hour Whale Watch

What you will see and do:
Is eight hours a bit too much for you? Do you want to visit some of San Diego’s other beautiful attractions? Then come aboard the four-and-a-half hour cruise! It’s a great way to wake up in the morning – you won’t need coffee when you have the fresh ocean breeze on your face – and wildlife jumping all around you!
As we leave the harbor, keep your eyes peeled for our local pinnipeds, the California sea lion! These cuties will be busy basking themselves on our docks, swimming around and under our boat. Keep your eyes open as we aim for deeper waters – we are frequently escorted by pods of common dolphins, spinning and doing aerobatic tricks through the air for your viewing pleasure.
During the winter months, we will witness the Gray whale migration, as they travel down our coastline, to mate and give birth off the Baja coast. If you happen to be visiting during the summer, look for the world’s largest animal, the blue whale, as they swim by.
Don’t forget to look up, either! Our avian wildlife loves to “help” our whales with their food – diving in and grabbing whatever morsels they can find! Look out for the red and brown boobies as well as the Bonaparte’s gulls!
Remember, your tour is never over until we dock, so as we head back in, look around. Maybe we will have the chance to see the playful bottlenose dolphins, jumping around! As we pull into the dock, our amazing crew will help you off the boat, filled with memories to last a lifetime.
