What you will see and do:
Come board our eight hour cruise at 9am! We will have you back in time for dinner at 5pm.
We will serve you a great continental breakfast of fresh fruits, bagels and yogurt as we cruise along the California coastline, taking in the wildlife as it awakens for another beautiful day. You will see many pinnipeds as we exit the harbor, basking in the morning sun. Perhaps a pod of common dolphins will escort you up and down the coastline!
Soon, we will reach the coastal continental shelf, looking for whales and dolphins, which frequent the area. Visit us in the winter, and you may be able to witness the beautiful migration of the Gray whales as they head towards the Baja peninsula to give birth to their calves. Soon, these new mothers will travel, with their calves, back up the California coastline to the cooler Alaskan waters.
During the summer months, the blue whales come to visit our waters. You could witness the largest mammal to ever live swim under our boat, their natural curiosity making them beautiful models for your camera!
Perhaps, after a few hours of being amazed by the constant barrage of wildlife, on all sides of the boat, you will be a bit hungry. Come join us in the galley, where your lunch is included with your reservation! Choose from a number of grilled items, including hamburgers and hotdogs, or have a sandwich, made to order! All your beverages are included, with alcoholic drinks additional.
Then join us back out on the deck as we watch for more wildlife. Don’t forget all the rare bird species that frequent our waters. Oyster catchers, red and brown boobies and plenty of tropic birds during the summer – we see it all! Bonaparte’s gulls are a sight to see during the winter months.
After a full day of seeing so much amazing wildlife, we will start our long journey back to shore, serving an afternoon snack, which includes a spread of cheese and crackers, fresh fruit and more! Once we dock, you will be helped off the boat by our crew with brand new memories and beautiful photographs that will remain a highlight in your life for years to come!
